    What is Twitter on WeFi?

You want everyone to know where you are, but never have the time to go to Twitter.com and update everyone?
Let us do it for you!
When you sign up to Twitter on WeFi, a Twitt is sent on your behalf every time you login to a mapped spot, and tells the world where you are. This twitt is sent to the entire world or just to your friends, based on your preference on Twitter.com.

Why should I map my location?

By mapping your location you help WeFi users around the globe easily find and connect to open WiFi networks.
Each marked spot contributes to our system in gaining more knowledge, allowing you and your friends to easily connect anywhere, anytime.
This is your time to make a difference!

What is the difference between “Auto Wifi” and “Manual Connect”?

The “Auto WiFi” mode actively searches for the best spot around to connect to, ensuring you always stay connected to the internet and enjoy the best available wireless experience at any time. Even if the connection drops, WeFi will automatically and immediately try to find an alternative so that you stay connected.
By clicking “Manual Connect” you stay connected to the spot of your choice even if WeFi detects that internet is not available on that spot.

Does WeFi work when another wireless manager is active?

Usually WeFi can work in parallel to another wireless manager.
However, if you experience difficulties, we recommend that you shut down all other wireless managers running on your computer.

Does WeFi work when my LAN cable is connected?

Yes, WeFi detects when your LAN cable is plugged in and switches to a LAN connection. Wireless connection is resumed when the LAN cable is disconnected.

    What is a Spotpage?

Every WiFi spot that has been mapped by a WeFi user has its own Spotpage. The spot will show as mapped by the member who first mapped it, and should be registered to the owner of that wireless access spot. If you own a WiFi spot, you’ll soon be able to customize your Spotpage. Tell the world what’s going on at your local cafe, or upload your family pictures. (You can even use Flicker to upload your own photos, or any photos associated with that spot’s location.)

What else can I find on the map?

Very soon you will be able to see local reviews, events, and other users’ experience of the WiFi and spots around you.

How does WeFi help me connect?

WeFi will automatically search for the best free WiFi in the area.
With WeFi you can stay connected even when you’re no way near your regular web connection.
