What is Wi-Fi?
Wi-Fi is a connectivity technology. A device enabled with Wi-Fi, such as your PC (Notebook, laptop or netbook), smartphone or tablet, can connect to the Internet via a wireless network access point. An access point (or hotspot) has a range of about 65 ft (20 meters) indoors and a greater range outdoors. Hotspot coverage can comprise an area as small as a single room with walls that block radio signals or a large area, as much as many square miles, covered by multiple overlapping access points.
Why do I need Wi-Fi connection? I have my data plan...
In most cases, Wi-Fi is significantly faster than the Cellular network, so your Internet browsing, videos and games will work smoother. Of course, when your device is connected to Wi-Fi, usage is NOT counted against your data plan so you have MORE to use when Wi-Fi is not available, WITHOUT paying for overages or being throttled to lower speeds.
Do I have to pay any extra for Wi-Fi connections?
In most cases - NO. Millions of Wi-Fi hotspots (including, of course, your home and workplace) are 100% free, so you can enjoy higher connection speed and quality without any additional charges. In some cases, hotspots do require payment. WeFi SHALL NOT automatically connect you to these and SHALL NOT deduct any funds from your cellular account.
Why do I need WeFi Client when I can use my phone’s default Wi-Fi network list?
WeFi Client automatically connects you to the best available Wi-Fi network, saving you time and effort. You can still use your phone’s default Wi-Fi networks list to manually choose networks you want to join. In addition, WeFi has knowledge of millions of qualified hotspots all over the world, and can automatically connect you to those spots.
Will my phone calls go through Wi-Fi now?
No. All your voice calls go through the Operator’s network as before. Your Internet browsing, videos and online games will use Wi-Fi connections where available.
With WeFi you can enjoy more VoIP calls availability when using apps like skype which needs Wi-FI to connect.
What operating systems are supported?

When you are using some application that requires an Internet connection (Browser, YouTube, etc.) a popup typically appears, asking you to select a connection. On phones that support Destination choose "WeFi Internet". On older phones simply select the "WeFi - Automatic" access point directly. WeFi will start looking for the best connection around and attempts to connect to it.
Note that WeFi will not be able to connect if the device is already connected to Wi-Fi via a different access point. You will have to disconnect first. See "Disconnecting Wi-Fi" below.
If you never see the connection-selection popup, check the settings of the application you are using. Most probably it is configured to always use a different access point. To change this on most important applications:

Are my Wi-Fi Passwords secured using WeFi?
For most Wi-Fi network you use, especially your home network - WeFi is not involved in asking you or using your password (it’s the work of the Android operating system). These passwords are stored securely on your device and WeFi Client has no way (and no use) to know what they are. For some networks, operated by Wi-Fi operators like Boingo, WeFi Client may ask you for your password so you can be connected automatically. For these networks, WeFi Client stores your password securely on the device, does not share them with anyone and does not send them to anyone or any Internet server outside your device.
